Walt: be safe and careful while swimming in the ocean, rivers and lakes.
Blurb: Today Whaea Nancy came and told about water safety and the dangers of the ocean. She told us about rips and the equipment you should bring to the beach, river, or just water in general.
Reflection:
It was easy to: Describe what we did.
It was hard to: Think of a WALT.
To improve I will: Put more information about what we learned.

ReplyDeleteKia ora Casper, my name is Mikaila and I am a year 8 student who attends Paihia School. I liked your blog post about Water safety because it is important to know what to do when you are in a difficult situation that involves rivers, oceans and lakes. I like how you told us what Whaea Nancy came to teach you and how she brang the equipment so you are able to practise what you need to do when your in trouble. I think it is important to know about water safety because as you get older you will have the knowledge you need to keep yourself and others safe.
ReplyDeleteDid you find all of this water safety lesson enjoyable?
