Niue DMIC maths

 WALT: to use geometry, position, orientation, and investigating fractions.

 

Blurb - What was the task/activity about? 

For the last 3 days we have been doing maths and other activities about Niue, since it is Niue language week. For this activity we have been experimenting how long it would take in kilometres to travel to all the villages in Niue. 

Reflection: 

I learned that... Niue has a hair cutting tradition for boys.

 I enjoyed ...  working with my friends.

I found it challenging...  figure out the math.

To improve I will...  use more strategy.

Agriculture day!!!

 

WALT: write what we did on pet-day

Today was agriculture day but we couldn't go inside the classrooms because of LEVEL 2. In our class we made Orca art, we did biscuit decorating, and recycled animals. it was super fun and cool. 

If you don't know what AG day/pet day you are supposed to bring an pet or animal but OBVIOUSLY we couldn't because... you guessed it CORONAVIRUS!! and we get to make cool creations let I told you before. 

Reflection:it was easy to: explain what AG was

It was hard to: think of a WALT.

Next time I will- add more pictures

TE WIKI O TE REO MAORI (MY PEPEHA)

 WALT: say our pepeha

Blurb: for the last few weeks we have been doing and completing some Te Reo Maori slides and we had to chose one or a few slides to blog post and I chose those my pepeha.

Reflection: It was hard to: think of a walt

It was easy to: do my pepeha

Next time I will: make a better walt

Blurb: Today we were learning about the Maori language and good Maori sayings and it was really fun and interesting.

It was easy to: post this to my blog.

Tongan lauguage week

WALT:  learn the Tongan language and facts about tonga.

Blurb: In room 5 we have been learning about the Tongan language and things about tonga. It was very challenging and fun

Reflection- Maybe I can think of better facts about tonga.

Refugees

WALT Find Infomation About Refugees For the last 2 weeks me and my buddy Tait have been reading lots of information and books about refugees to get to know how much they struggle in life. Reflection it was easy to get infomation from the book. It was hard to get lots of infomation. next time I will work faster.

Deconstructed Recount

 WALT Write a Deconstructed Recount.

So for the last week, we have been learning how to write a deconstructed holiday recount. We had to write what we saw, smelt, tasted, heard, and felt.

Reflection I found it easy to think of things I did in the holidays. I found it hard to find words to fit in. Next time I will find better topics to talk about.
