Deconstructed Recount
WALT Write a Deconstructed Recount.
So for the last week, we have been learning how to write a deconstructed holiday recount. We had to write what we saw, smelt, tasted, heard, and felt.
Reflection I found it easy to think of things I did in the holidays. I found it hard to find words to fit in. Next time I will find better topics to talk about.

Deconstructed Recount
Show, Don’t Tell
Deconstructed Recount
WRITE ABOUT IT | DRAW A PICTURE |
SEE Sand dunes towering over me as I rode along into the misty distance. Waves crashing into the shore.
HEAR I heard the rumble of the rusty engine as I rode along, the sound making my ears ring.
| |
TASTE I tasted salt as I bit into a salty delicious chip, LP sliding down my throat after taking a big sip. |
WRITE ABOUT IT | DRAW A PICTURE |
SMELL delicious chips and a hotdog on a stick, the smell is unbearably good
FEEL feel cold as I dove into the frigid water and I feel intermediate coldness. |
